Welcome! My name is pronounced (Mick-uh-leen), but I also go by Mickey. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners approved Clinical Supervisor. I have worked with all ages across a variety of therapeutic settings. I have experience working with clients who struggle with a variety of challenges such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, stress management, trauma, life transitions, and family conflicts. I am passionate about working with young adults and adults to manage stress, navigate life changes, and overcome trauma-related issues.

I hope to support clients along their journey by providing a safe and therapeutic space for them to express and process their feelings and thoughts. I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities including strengths-based and cognitive behavioral to meet each client’s unique and individual needs. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy. EMDR therapy is used to treat trauma, distressing life experiences, depression, and anxiety.

I obtained my degrees in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington.
